91.9 WFPK Rock 'n' Stroll for Public Radio Featuring Brandi Carlile with The Lone Bellow

91.9 WFPK Radio Louisville invites you to "Rock 'n' Stroll" for Louisville's public radio stations on Sunday, June 23 at Iroquois Park and Amphitheater. The ticketed event begins at 5 p.m. and culminates with a performance by Brandi Carlile with The Lone Bellow at 7:30 p.m.

Proceeds from the 5k walk benefit Louisville Public Media's three listener- supported radio stations: 91.9 WFPK Radio Louisville, Classical 90.5 WUOL and 89.3 WFPL News.

Known for her remarkably expressive vocal style, Carlile has shared stages with such artists as the Dave Mattews Band, Ray LaMontagne, and the Avett Brothers. The singer-songwriter has spent the better part of the last decade on tour, bringing her music to an ever-expanding audience. Along the way, she has garnered acclaim for her recordings "The Story" (2007), "Give Up The Ghost" (2009), and "Bear Creek" (2012).

The $40 ticket includes a 5k walk through Iroquois Park, preferred seating to the Brandi Carlile performance, a t-shirt, early admission to the amphitheater before the general public, and membership to Louisville Public Media. Concert-only tickets to the 7:30 p.m. show are $30. For a schedule of events, visit wfpk.org.

Presale tickets are available for purchase for Louisville Public Media members beginning April 22 by calling 814-6565. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 26, at 10 a.m. at iroquoisamphitheater.com or by calling (877) 987-6487. Tickets are $40.00 (plus applicable service fees when purchased through ticketfly.com).
