Louisville’s only 24-hour classical music station will soon be bringing the music of the Louisville Orchestra to the community. Beginning September 22, the Louisville Orchestra’s classical concerts will be broadcast at 6 p.m. on selected Saturdays. Classical 90.5’s Alan Brandt will host the program and present interviews with the conductors, soloists and orchestra members.
Conductor Bob Bernhardt will be the interview for the first concert, “Fanfara,” which was performed on Sept. 9 and will air on Classical 90.5 on September 22 at 6 p.m. The complete broadcast schedule, is available at https://wuol.org/2012/09/louisville-orchestra-schedule/.

Classical 90.5 is a public radio service that broadcasts music and cultural programming 24/7. It offers free recitals in the performance studio at 619 S. Fourth St. The station nurtures youth through the Young Artist Competition and Instrumental Partners, a program that places instruments in the hands of deserving youth in our public schools.
