Louisville Public Media has announced that the Corporate Support Department has posted its highest-ever revenue for the month of January. Manager Gray Smith points to the 8% increase over last January’s record as further proof that LPM underwriting continues to be the best value in the market for reaching a large, quality audience.January 2009’s underwriting record is the climax to positive results in 2008. Smith and his staff hit their sales goals every month during a very difficult year for business and media in particular. Smith says, “This is just further affirmation that we offer a great value and we have good folks working a good plan” and that “LPM’s clients are happy with their results”.Louisville is one of only a handful of cities served by three non-commercial public radio stations.
