A Live Broadcast of “A Prairie Home Companion” from WFPL and Brown-Forman's Woodford Reserve

(Louisville, KY) 89.3 WFPL and Brown-Forman’s Woodford Reserve are bringing Garrison Keillor to Louisville for a first-ever live national broadcast. On Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 5:45pm the cast and crew from Lake Wobegon return to the beautiful historic Louisville Palace, for a unique evening of radio.Tickets for “A Prairie Home Companion” with Garrison Keillor go on sale Friday, November 7th at noon. Tickets will be available at the Louisville Palace Box Office (502.583.4555 or www.louisvillepalace.com) and all Ticketmaster locations (502.361.3100 or purchase tickets here). Tickets are $77 & $57 and $42. This show is expected to sell out as “A Prairie Home Companion” broadcasts live from Louisville!Louisville Public Media members will be offered two opportunities to receive tickets before they go on sale to the public. Listeners who become members at the “dollar-a-day” level can receive two tickets (while they last) during “A Prairie Home Companion” broadcasts within our Fall Membership drive (specifically 6p-8p on 10/18 and 1p-3p on 10/19).
