As part of the week leading up the the 145th annual Kentucky Derby, Curious Louisville is re-sharing the answers to some of our favorite Derby-themed questions.
First up, we had a question related to how people actually get to the city for the event. It’s a busy time of year, no doubt; over 150,000 people will attend the race this weekend.
And Fred Benz wondered how many planes fly into Louisville for the Kentucky Derby.
This story was initially reported by Kyeland Jackson in 2018. In the time since, the airport has been renamed the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport; but a call to airport representatives confirmed that the numbers in the story remain the same.
