NCAA Tournament: U of L Advances to Women's Elite Eight

The University of Louisville women’s team has advanced to the Elite Eight round of the NCAA basketball Tournament.

The Cardinals defeated Stanford 86-59 Friday night in the Lexington Region quarterfinals.

U of L will face Oregon State Sunday for a chance to advance to the Final Four in Columbus, Ohio.   Tipoff is at noon.

The Cards are the top seed in their region.
