Three candidates are on the November ballot for Congress in Southern Indiana’s 9th District.
Democrat Shelli Yoder, Republican Trey Hollingsworth and Libertarian candidate Russell Brooksbank are vying for the seat now held by Republican Todd Young, who’s running for U.S. Senate.
Yoder is a member of the Monroe County Council and teaches at Indiana University. She ran unsuccessfully for the 9th District seat in 2012.
Yoder recently discussed her candidacy and some of the issues in the race with me in the studio.

On Tuesday, we’ll hear from Republican nominee Hollingsworth.
