Here's Which Presidential Candidates Will Be Where In Kentucky This Week
In advance of Kentucky's May 17 Democratic primary, the candidates and at least one high-profile surrogate will visit the bluegrass state this week.
Frontrunner Hillary Clinton visited Ashland Monday afternoon. According to her campaign website, the stop is part of Clinton's “Breaking Down Barriers” driving tour through Kentucky and West Virginia.
Former president Bill Clinton will campaign for his wife on Tuesday in Louisville and Morehead. Their daughter, Chelsea Clinton, also campaigned in Lexington last week.
The former president is scheduled for a rally at the Kentucky Center for African-American Heritage, at 1701 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd., at 3:15 p.m.
Also on Tuesday, Sen. Bernie Sanders is scheduled to visit Louisville. According to Sanders' campaign website, the senator will hold a rally at Waterfront ParkTuesday afternoon. Doors will open at 4 p.m. The event is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
Sanders will also visit Lexington on Wednesday. He'll hold a rally downtown at the Lexington Center. Doors open at 4 p.m.
There are 60 delegates up for grabs in Kentucky's Democratic primary on May 17.
