Teddy Abrams is known in Louisville as the orchestra's music director, but his interests go further than classical music. That's on display today on NPR.org.
Abrams is the guest this week on NPR Music's Tiny Desk performance series. On piano, he performs Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 30 — with improvisation — plus two songs he composed.

"Abrams doesn't treat composers like museum exhibits to be handled with white gloves," writes NPR's Tom Huizenga.
