After landing in Louisville on Friday afternoon, Prince Charles has attended events around the city related to health and the environment.
The Prince of Wales and his wife, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, began their visit to Louisville at the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage in the heart of the Russell neighborhood.
The Center held a symposium with speakers from around the country about issues related to sustainable cities and health.
Prince Charles met with community leaders—including Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer.
The Prince of Wales will also deliver a speech at the Cathedral of the Assumption downtown.
He’s slated to share his own thoughts on how cities can improve health and the environment for their residents.
We'll have more coverage later Friday.
