FRANKFORT — The deadline is this week for anyone who wants to comment on Kentucky Education Department proposed social studies and arts and humanities standards.
Standards in both areas have met the necessary criteria and have involved educators, but the department wants broader feedback before moving on to adopting the proposals into the state's required academic standards.
Friday is the deadline to review the proposed standards and provide feedback and suggestions.
