Louisville’s minor league soccer team has announced it will hold tryouts by invitation in November.
In a news release, Louisville City FC head coach James O’Connor said he looks forward to seeing local and national players compete for a paid contract for the 2015 season.The club announced earlier this year that it’s moving the team franchise to Louisville from Orlando, and will play home matches at Louisville Slugger Field.(Here's more about the Louisville City FC from our past coverage.)Players interested in trying out mustsubmit an applicationby Oct. 14 and upload a playing resume for consideration, according to the news release.About 90 players will be invited to attend the tryouts, which will be Nov. 22-23 at Collegiate Fields in Louisville.
