A company specializing in financial services and investor communications is opening a facility in Jefferson County.Computershare Inc. plans to hire up to 250 people for new jobs in management, human resources, call center operations and other positions, according to a news release from Mayor Greg Fischer’s office. The company has been preliminarily approved for up to $2.5 million in performance-based tax incentives from the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority.The Australian-based company first entered the U.S. market in 2000 and employs more than 4,000 people across the country, according to the news release.
