A call center company is planning to bring some 750 jobs to eastern Jefferson County.
TPUSA says it plans to invest around $13 million in the Louisville location, which will provide customer service for banking, insurance and investment planning for current and former U.S. military members, according to a city news release.Mayor Greg Fischer and Gov. Steve Beshear announced Thursday that TPUSA plans to move into a 50,000 square foot facility off Ormsby Station Road. The state has already approved the project for nearly $4 million in tax incentives, which will be based on performance, according to the release.The firm’s parent company Teleperformance USA employs more than 150,000 people in several countries.The operation is expected to be running next month.
