Dani Porter, 20, and Alexis Porter, 17, stop by the Dairy Kastle ice cream stand at least once a week for an afternoon treat.Alexis Porter’s favorite desert is the orange sherbet; Dani Porter’s is the vanilla and chocolate swirl.While Dani Porter rarely deviates from her normal favorite, she decided on Thursday to try a Fourth of July specials—ice cream with shortcake, blueberries, strawberries and sprinkles.Diary Kastle, at Eastern Parkway and Bradley Avenue, sells on average a couple hundred ice cream cones and chili dogs a night each.“I really feel like we have fun here,” said Katherine Smith, Dairy Kastle’s owner. “I think its going to be a great Fourth of July weekend.”
