Two Kentucky Wildcats, a Louisville Cardinals and an Indiana Hoosier were among the area college basketball players chosen Thursday night in the NBA Draft.The Wildcats' Julius Randle was chosen seventh by the Los Angeles Lakers. His teammate James Young was chosen by the Boston Celtics with the 17th pick.The AP reports: Randle was the SEC's freshman of the year while helping the Wildcats to the NCAA championship game. He had 24 games with at least 10 points and 10 rebounds, the second-most by a freshman in Division I history.Both helped the Wildcats to the 2014 national championship game as freshmen.Indiana's Noah Vonleh was the ninth pick to the Charlotte Hornets, and Louisville Cardinals senior Russ Smith was chosen 47th by the Philadelphia 76ers.Smith was a star player on the Cardinals' 2013 national championship team.The Cleveland Cavaliers chose Kansas' Andrew Wiggins with the draft's No. 1 pick.
