Officials with the Kentucky Department of Education confirm that the ACT testing company is investigating Jefferson County Public School's Male High School.
The investigation is being led by ACT Compass, according to KDE spokeswoman Nancy Rodriguez. The Compass is not to be confused with the ACT college entrance exam that high school juniors take each year, though the exam can be used to measure college and career readiness or for local district assessments, says Rodriguez. The Compass is not a major part of the state’s accountability system and the education department refers request for exam results to the ACT.JCPS and ACT exam officials would not comment on the pending investigation and it’s not yet known what aspects of the Compass exam are being investigated.Male High School is among the top performing schools in the state.(Image via Shutterstock)
