In this week's winter weather issue,the Louisville area has the potential for commute problems—this time Tuesday morning—because of snow.Snowfall is forecast to develop in Southern Indiana and Central Kentucky overnight, the National Weather Service said. The snowfall is forecast to accumulate to 1 to 3 inches—and most of it is expected to fall between 5 a.m. and 10 a.m. Tuesday, the weather service said.Compounding matters, wind gusts are expected to be as strong as 35 miles per hour, and the temperature will drop rapidly."These temperatures combined with strong winds will lead to wind chill values in the single digits," the weather service said in a winter weather advisory issued Monday.That winter weather advisory is in effect from 1 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.We'll update with the latest early Tuesday morning here at WFPL.org and on air.
