The Kentucky General Assembly faces a session with many issues and not so much money, traffic fatalities spike in Jefferson County, and Mayor Greg Fischer discusses his first three years in office—these stories and more are coming up today on Byline.The Kentucky legislature's 2014 session starts next week. What's been said so far is that the state has more spending priorities than revenue. Kentucky Public Radio's Jonathan Meador will discuss with guest host Gabe Bullard this situation and other matters facing state legislators.Last week, I reported that traffic fatalities spiked 33 percent in Jefferson County in 2013, compared to 2012. That's despite a historic low traffic fatality rate statewide.
