I-65 North Ramp to I-64 West Has Reopened

The ramp from northbound Interstate 65 to westbound Interstate 64 in downtown Louisville has been reopened to traffic.The ramp was closed suddenly Friday out of concern for what appeared to be deterioration in a support column.An inspection Saturday confirmed the deterioration. The installation of additional supports was completed Sunday evening. Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials say inspections of all support piers along the Kennedy Bridge interchange will be conducted in the coming weeks as a precaution.
