JCPS and other school districts closed Tuesday (see more below) after initially delaying classes.Jefferson County and surrounding counties in Kentucky are now under a Winter Weather Advisory until 11 a.m. The National Weather Service says a "fast moving band of snow" is moving through the area and dropping a "quick burst of snowfall." The weather service is now forecasting about an inch of snow in the Louisville area. Because the snow is happening during the morning commute, traffic issues may arise, the weather service said.And Archdiocese of Louisville schools in Jefferson Countyare now closed, too.
