Residents in southeastern Jefferson County will have a pool of school board candidates this fall that range in experience and vision for improving student achievement.The last of WFPL's Jefferson County Board of Education election debates ended Tuesday night. The five candidates competing for retiring board member Larry Hujo's District 7 seat--Chris Brady, Christopher Fell, Marty Bell, James Sexton and Jonathan Robertson--discussed taxes, charter schools, neighborhood schools and much more.WFPL will have a one-hour new special later this month with segments of all the debates.
