Louisville Metro councilwoman Attica Woodson-Scott will hold her third neighborhood walk tonight to address the problem of violence in West Louisville.A series of brazen shootings in the Parkland neighborhood earlier this year led Mayor Greg Fischer to create a 37-member Violence Prevention Task Force. Several subcommittees have completed their work and a final report could be sent to Fischer’s office this week.Scott says her neighborhood walks improve communication between law enforcement and the community.“The folks are so appreciative to actually have officers and lieutenants and majors out knocking on their doors sharing information with them, giving them their business cards and saying please call me if you see or hear anything that’s suspicious," she said.Scott said her first neighborhood walk only had a couple participants and the last walk had around eight. The walk begins at 5 pm at 1000 block of Cecil Avenue.
