The Tea Party, No Child Left Behind and financial deregulation are just a few of many concepts that have roots in Texas.A new book by New York Times national columnist Gail Collins, entitled, As Texas Goes… looks into how much of this country’s political agenda, and anti-Washington sentiment, was shaped in the Lone Star State.Collins will visit the Louisville Free Public Library Thursday evening. She talks here about her book with WFPL’s Rick Howlett.
