Severe Weather Warning Issued for Louisville Area

Updated: 8:43 amThe National Weather Service says heavy rain and lighting will continue until 10 am this morning.A flash flood warning has also been issued for the region.The National Weather Service has issued a severe weather warning this morning for the Louisville area.Residents should expect heavy rain, thunderstorms and possible hail throughout the area. The storms are expected to continue until 8:30 am.Some outages have been reported by Louisville Gas and Electric, mostly in the southwest Louisville region.
