Louisville Metro Police continue their investigation into the death of a man whose body was found early today in a barn on the Churchill Downs backside.He’s been identified as 48 year old Adan Fabian Perez of Guatemala, who lived on the backside. A state racing officials tells the Courier-Journal that Perez was a groom at the track.The death has been ruled a homicide. Police say Perez was apparently involved in an altercation, but an exact cause of death has not been determined. An autopsy has been scheduled for tomorrow.The man’s body was found about 5:00am today by a track security guard. There have been no arrests.
