Friday on State of the News we were joined by Courier-Journal writer Marcus Green, who dropped in to discuss two of his recent in-depth reports. One article dealt with disappointing profits at the KFC Yum! Center, which has hosted numerous high-impact events, been praised by both patrons and entertainers or teams using it, but also has had larger than anticipated expenses.Green also discussed the recent revelation that built into Kentucky’s plan to pay for a new Ohio River bridge in downtown Louisville is the assumption that years from now the Sherman Minton Bridge in western Louisville will be replaced — and also tolled.
