The Consensus Forecast Group is made up mostly of economists from the state's universities. The panel issued the official prediction today, which will guide lawmakers and the governor as they craft the next state budget.The group predicted that general fund revenue will be about nine billion dollars for this fiscal year and increase to 9.2 and 9.5 billion in the next two fiscal years, respectively.The group's predictions have often been accurate in the past.
