Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., predicted a plan to extend the payroll tax cut for workers will receive significant bipartisan support.The Republican leader was a cheerleader for the GOP plan unveiled in the House on Friday, which has tied the tax relief to the controversial Keystone pipeline approval. Congressional Democrats and President Obama are rejecting the compromise as a non-starter, but McConnell told Fox New's Chris Wallace the president is posturing and Democrats will come around."There are a significant number of Democratic senators and House members who are going to support this package," says McConnell.
