Mayor Jerry Abramson was the first Democratic candidate to arrive at the Kentucky Convention Center in Frankfort.Abramson is running for Lieutenant Governor alongside Gov. Steve Beshear. When asked about Beshear's lack of an agenda for the next four years, Abramson defended his partner."I disagree. The agenda has been to manage this government while you cut a billion dollars out of this budget, balancing it nine times and protecting education, there was his number one initiative," he said.Abramson proceeded to name Beshear's previous successes like public safety, Medicaid, and job creation, though critics would argue how well he managed Kentucky's unemployment rate."We hit some home runs with Ford Motor Company," he said.
