One Teacher Remains Hospitalized From Last Week's Bus Accident

Louisville Collegiate School officials say one staff member remains hospitalized in stable condition from last week’s bus accident; all students have been discharged.A bus carrying 4th grade students was involved in a roll over accident on I-65 last Thursday. All 16 students and three adults were admitted to a hospital in Glascow. Students and staff suffered a range of injuries, including broken bones.It was previously reported that another vehicle was involved, but it’s unclear what role the vehicle may have played in the accident.School officials said they are awaiting an official accident report from the Kentucky State Police. They expect it will shed light on the accident’s cause.Two school buses were transporting the 4th grade class on a field trip to Mammoth Cave. The second bus returned to school after the accident.
