Interstate Closures in Kentucky and Indiana Begin Monday

Two construction projects will slow interstate traffic in the area tomorrow.After morning rush hour, one of the three eastbound lanes of I-64 on the Sherman Minton Bridge will be closed for maintenance. The Indiana Department of Transportation expects the closure to affect eastbound rush hour traffic for several months on the lower deck of the bridge.Tomorrow evening, work will begin on a sound barrier north of I-264 between Manslick Road and Taylor Boulevard. Lanes will be closed from the evening into the early morning.
