From the Associated PressThe Indiana Recount Commission has voted 3-0 to reject a challenge that Indiana Secretary of State Charlie White was ineligible to run for the office he now holds. The panel of two Republicans and one Democrat voted Tuesday to turn down the contention from Democrats that White was illegally registered to vote from his ex-wife's Fishers home when he declared his candidacy. White calls it all a mistake stemming from a complicated personal life and campaigning for the state's top elections job. White also faces criminal voter fraud charges.
