Speed Art Museum director Charles Venable spoke with Graham Shelby today on Here and Now about an exhibit opening this week. It features an Italian triptych depicting the Madonna and Child flanked by St. John the Baptist and St. Catherine of Alexandria, long a part of the Speed's collection, which recently was identified as stolen from an estate decades ago. The Speed has agreed to return the work to the previous owner. The conversation is below.
