The Memorial Day custom of paying tribute to soldiers killed in war brings mixed emotions to many of the people who served with those soldiers. Phil Goudeau is a combat veteran who served two tours of duty in Vietnam and has spent the last thirty years helping other veterans readjust to life on the homefront. He’s a counseling therapist for the V.A. and runs the Vet Center on South Third Street. He says to remember that the prospect of honoring fallen soldiers can be much harder for combat veterans than it is for civilians. Listen to an interview with Phil:
