UK Resumes NCAA Play Against Buckeyes

The Kentucky Wildcats take on Ohio State Friday night in the Sweet Sixteen round of the men’s NCAA tournament. The Buckeyes are the tournament’s overall number one seed, and UK coach John Calipari says it’s well-deserved."I’ve watched a ton of Ohio State tape. There are times I’ve watched the tape and I go ‘oh my goodness.’ They’re really talented, they play to their strengths, they’re very skilled, they shoot, they bounce, they’ve got great strength, they’ve got size. I mean they’re really a terrific basketball team," he said Thursday.Kentucky and Ohio State have played 19 times, with UK winning ten of the contests, including their last meeting in 1996.Tipoff of the East Regional semifinal in Newark, New Jersey is 9:45pm Friday.
