The Department of Public Health and Wellness is offering a free emergency preparedness workshop Saturday.Attendees will learn how to dispense medication, and how to organize large groups of people and help them through emergency situations.Dave Langdon with the Department of Public Health and Wellness says the workshop is open to anyone over 18.βThe workshop is geared toward helping know what they can do during a community emergency," he says "really to serve the community.βThe workshop will be at the Kentucky International Convention Center at 7:30 AM.
