Kentucky Educational Television will begin airing a 30-minute program produced by the Kentucky Farm Bureau. Bluegrass and Backroads consists of four segments, one of which is typically dedicated to agriculture. Co-producer Matt Hilton says the show also explores Kentucky’s culture, history and arts."For the past seven seasons we’ve been on commercial stations throughout the state and recently we were added to KET’s lineup. This is a big move for us because we’re really hitting every piece of Kentucky. And that’s where we want our show to be seen—by every resident of the state, and KET really hits that mark," he said. The eighth season of Bluegrass and Backroads begins this weekend.
