Retired Kentucky Department of Agriculture employee Stewart Gritton of Lawrenceburg is running for state Agriculture Commissioner. The 58-year old Anderson County dairy and tobacco farmer, who dropped by the Secretary of State’s office to file his papers and pay the $500 qualifying fee, is running as a Democrat. Gritton joins three other Democrats already in the race - Bob Farmer of Louisville, David Williams of Glasgow and B.D. Wilson of Frankfort. Republicans already running are Representative James Comer of Tompkinsville and Rob Rothenburger of Shelbyville
