The University of Louisville football team is making final preparations for Tuesday's Beef O'Brady's Bowl in St. Petersburg, Florida.The Cards face Southern Mississippi in the 8:00pm game. First year head coach Charlie Strong says he's proud of his team's turnaround after two straight losing seasons and three straight without a bowl bid."We've made tremendous strides. We made those strides because of the leadership of our seniors and what they decided to do. I didn't set any goals of wins or losses. I just wanted to make sure put a product on the field that everyone would be happy about, and each game we got better and better and better,' he said.Louisville finished the regular season with a 6-6 record. Southern Miss is 8-4.Kentucky will play Pittsburgh in the Compass Bowl in Birmingham on January 8.
