The 30th annual Light Up Louisvilleholiday celebration is Friday in the Metro Hall area of downtown. "Light Up Louisville has been a real part of the holiday experience, a free event that offers tens of thousands of twinkling lights and trees and fireworks and children's activities and of course, Santa Claus himself," said Mayor Jerry Abramson.It all begins at 3:00pm with music, food and craft booths and a 5K run and walk. The Winter Wonderland Parade is at 6:00pm, with the holiday lights switched on at 9:00pm.
