STATE OF AFFAIRS 11/17/10: Mining, poverty, health challenges, civil rights struggles - these are some of the issues that scholars at the University of Kentucky say our Commonwealth has in common with the country of South Africa. They join us this Wednesday to talk about a new program at UK that explores the history of both places - what they have in common, and what they might learn from one anothers' struggles.
