The University of Kentucky and Louisville-based Norton Healthcare have announced they've entered into an agreement to share resources.Leaders of the two institutions say they'll develop a statewide system of patient care, teaching programs and children's health services. They'll also work together to implement initiatives mandated under the federal health care overhaul.Officials say there's no financial arrangement in the agreement.
Rick Howlett was midday host and the host of LPM's weekly talk show, "In Conversation." He was with LPM from 2001-2023 and held many different titles, including Morning Edition host, Assignment Editor and Interim News Director. He died in August 2023. Read a remembrance of Rick here.
