By Sheila AshLouisville Metro Parks will conduct the second in a series of four meetings Monday to develop master plans for Charlie Vettiner Park and the Mahoney property in Jeffersontown.Metro Parks Community Manager Margaret Brosko says there is no definite time table for the plans to be executed. "As to when the actual parks will get built and take place that can happen, you know sometimes thereβs money allocated within the year to two years. Then other times it takes a number of years for council to either allocate the money in order to make these changes or some other funds become available that the master plan can actually take shape," she said. Brosko says construction is already underway on new clubhouse at the Charlie Vettiner Golf Course. She also says even though the Mahoney property is near Vettiner Park, it will be a separate facility. Both meetings will be at Farmer Elementary School. The first is from 6:00pm to 7:15 pm and will focus on the Mahoney Property with the Vettiner Park discussion to follow at 7:30 pm.
