By Sheila AshKentucky’s general election is November 2 and the voter registration deadline is approaching. "The deadline to register to vote in the general election for 2010 is Monday, October 4. You can either do that by turning in a voter registration directly to the county clerk by that date or you can postmark it. Make sure you get it in the mail and it has to have the postmark by October 4," says Les Fugate, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State.Fugate says to register you must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of Kentucky and at least 18 years of age on or before Election Day. Monday is also the deadline to register to vote in Indiana.
