After the hottest summer on record, forecasters say Louisville’s temperatures will likely stay above normal for much of September.National Weather Service Meteorologist Ryan Sharp says even though a cold front passed through the area earlier this month, temperatures will be slightly above average for the next few weeks."The normal temperature for the first half of September is in the low 80s and the forecast from the climate prediction center is above normal," he says. "Actually, there's a pretty good chance of it being above normal. You're looking at the upper 80s, lower 90s."Sharp says the climate prediction center's forecast for the fall shows temperatures staying a few degrees above normal through November, though a detailed forecast has not been generated.
