Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's daughter will speak in Louisville Wednesday.Nineteen-year-old Bristol Palin will headline a fundraiser for the Lifehouse Christian maternity home. She will discuss her experience as a single mother and will be paid 14 thousand dollars.Lifehouse executive director Joan Smith says many teenage mothers do not have the income or family support Palin has, but they can still relate to her."There is no amount of money you can throw at that problem that makes the problem any different," she says. "We all look and we say, 'Okay, if we just had the financial resources things would be better.' That does not change the dynamics and the problems and the frustrations of being a teen mom."Palin has spoken at other events across the country, often advocating abstinence before marriage. Tickets to the fundraiser are $125, and the proceeds will go to expand the Lifehouse headquarters. Palin's mother will speak at a gospel music conference in Louisville on the 16th.
