by Stephanie CrosbyThe Jeffersonville Carnegie Library Foundation is searching for a tenant for its historic building in the southern Indiana community.Consultant Robyn Davis Sekula says the restored building hasn’t been a library since the mid-60’s, but they want to preserve its beauty and leave it open to the public.“The Foundation, most importantly, is looking for an organization that wants to be in Jeffersonville for the long-term," says Sekula, "[a tenant] that wants to be an integral part of the community, and wants to participate in all the things that Jeffersonville has to offer.”Sekula says the foundation would prefer a non-profit for the space, but would consider businesses on a case-by-case basis. She says the new tenant will be required to sign a five-year lease.
