A rescue effort continued this morning at a western Kentucky underground mine where two miners are trapped following a ceiling collapse.The accident occurred late Wednesday or early Thursday at the Dotiki mine near Providence.A United Mine Workers Union representative tells the Associated Press that the western Kentucky mine is a large operation that employs more than 300 miners, but the accident likely occured in an isolated area. He says at least two others escaped the collapse.
