by Stephanie CrosbyA large trucking show that has been held in Louisville since 1972 has signed a contract to stay for the next ten years. The Mid-America Trucking Show will be held at the Louisville Exposition Center through 2020.State Fair Board spokesperson Vicki Glass says the leadership of the show think Louisville is a great place logistically to hold the event.“We are close in proximity to many other cities," says Glass, "and he said couple that with the city’s gracious hospitality and expansive convention facilities and amply supply of hotel room, and it makes the exposition center the perfect location.”Glass says last year the event included 930 manufacturers and suppliers and visitors from all fifty states.She says it generates $14-million in economic activity in Louisville each year.
